Introduction
I am a 46-year-old once married, now single, middle school teacher currently living near Pekin, IN. Lifelong hiker needing to get in better shape and to meet like-minded folks.

What kind of hikes would you like to join us on? (backpacking, short and slow day hikes, fast and long day hikes, etc...)
Various lengths, with focus on both excercise and enjoying the environment. Not necessarily interested in "runnning" through the woods. Lots to see out there...
Are you new to hiking or have you been hiking for a while now?
Have hiked all my life. Used to be more into the backpack angle, a number of years ago, and an even greater number of lbs. ago. Would like to get back to that, as my "shape" improves!
